Nick founded Mantis Partners in 2000. His key focus is delivering on senior level mandates across global equity markets covering both sell-side and buy-side firms. Prior to Mantis, Nick spent four years with another London based recruitment organisation. During that period he was responsible for building their equity derivative and buy-side search capability globally. He began his career as a bond trader in ‘95. Nick graduated in an upper second class honours degree in Finance.
Russell is a Partner and co-heads our global Fixed Income practise, with particular focus on Credit, Private Markets and Speciality Finance. He has a proven search track record since 1996 covering senior mandates on both the buy and sell side. His background of expertise crosses the value chain in credit, risk management and derivatives. Previously, Russell was a Partner and co-founded the Global Markets Fixed Income boutique Figtree Search. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Information Systems.
Michael joined Mantis Partners in 2023 as a Director with focus on equity markets and research globally. Previously, Michael was an Executive Director in Sheffield Haworth’s Markets practice having started his career in search at Rice & Dore Associates. Michael works with global investment banks and specialist boutiques as well as asset managers and hedge funds. Michael read Economics at Exeter College, Oxford University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
Simon manages our FIC executive search business with a particular focus in FX markets. He has an extensive track record of completing senior capital markets mandates and has led search teams covering FX, fixed income, equities, and commodities. He was previously an MD and head of global markets at Pure Search for 9 years, and deputy MD head of fixed income at Correlate Search & Alexander Mann for nine years. He began his career in FX at Citi and JP Morgan. He has a MSc Economics from the University of London, a BA Hons in Economics & French and also studied Economics at Universite de Rennes I in France.
Cedric joined Mantis Partners in 2011 and is responsible for Cross Asset Solutions globally. Previously, Cedric was a Partner at MD Executive Search, where he built the firm’s Equity Derivatives practice. Prior to that, Cedric had a 10-year career as an Equity and Funds structurer and his latest role was at JP Morgan in 2009. Cedric holds a Master in Management from ESC Bordeaux.
Chris is responsible for Global Prime Finance at Mantis Partners including Delta1, Prime Distribution, Prime trading and Derivatives Execution & Clearing covering both Banks and Hedge Funds. He started his career in executive search in 2010 and has previously operated in other areas of the global markets space, including Credit & Rates. He holds a BSc in International Relations and an MA in Journalism.
